This will be a pretty basic/straightforward newsletter. Thank you in advanced for tuning in. :-)
Today’s newsletter will include:
FLASH DROP / Remaining Summer Availability - Detailing my July/Aug availability and sharing some new flash with you! Plus a rock themed flash day in July.

FLASH DROP / BOOKING
I just returned from a trip back home to FL and got a lot of good drawing time in, so I’m excited to share five new flash pieces with you!
Designs 1-4: these four designs will be added to my Flash Book and are can be chosen at any Flash Book Appointment. All of these designs fall within a $350-$450 price range.
Design 5: this Meadowlark on Thistle design is a “Large Flash Piece” and can be booked by submitting a booking form. I will likely only tattoo this one 1-3 times. The price for this one is $650-800, depending on the final size (this design requires a minimum length of 8 inches to tattoo).
I added an extra day of availability in June! I also have updated my July calendar. I don’t have a ton of availability, so hop on it while you can! As a reminder, folks booking for July will receive a $30 discount. Click here to book a flash appointment through my calendar (no booking form necessary). I will be doing a rock flash day on July 18th. I figured it would be fun to do a day of just rock tattoos and nothing else! Typically the price for a combo of three rocks is $300, but for this flash day they will be priced at $200 ($50 deposit, $150 day of). These will not be mix and match rocks like they are in my flash book, but pre-designed flash pieces featuring a mix of stacks, clusters, and rows of 3 rocks for you to choose from. As usual, the placement options for flash days are limited to arms and legs only. I will be booking these time slots: 10am, 11:30am, 1pm, 2:30pm, 4pm. Because this is already a discounted flash day, the $30 July discount does not apply.
My summer calendar has come together a bit more and I will be traveling for most of August. I will be booking custom work or Large Flash pieces during those dates, instead of Flash Book Appointments. I will be back to a normal booking schedule in September as well.
GUEST SPOT
My shopmate Nat (@thineownselftattoo) and I will be guesting at Neon Rodeo in Missoula, MT on July 2nd and 3rd! Along with new designs 1-4, here is a collection of flash pieces (some recent, some older) that are available to be tattooed during this guest spot.
Please shoot me an email (strangevessel.tattoo@gmail.com) or submit a booking form if you are interested in booking for this guest spot. I will be taking 3-4 appointments on each day and will offer you some time slot options via email. This is my first attempt to guest in Montana, so if you know someone in Missoula (or nearby) who may be interested in getting tattooed, please send them my way!
CUSTOMS
I am still taking custom requests via my booking form! I book customs on a rolling basis (usually doing only a handful each month) so if I am fully booked for custom work when you submit, I will offer to put you on my waitlist and plug you in as my availability opens up. I do occasionally have to deny custom requests if I do not believe I will be a good fit for your project.
MUTUAL AID REQUEST
My good friend Cole is fundraising for their gender affirming surgeries this summer.
I’ve known Cole for many years. They were one of my first clients in 2018 when I was a newly licensed artist and have given me their time/money/space on their skin throughout my tattoo career. I owe it to them to do my best to get the word out there.
As a reminder, if you donate to their campaign I will deduct your donation amount up to $20 from the cost of your tattoo. Please consider sharing Cole’s fundraiser with your friends and family or on your social media. The time to show up for your trans neighbors and community members is now. It was yesterday, actually, but you get the idea. I know that times are extremely tough right now and every donation is deeply appreciated.
